In the quarter-finals will face Robin Soderling
Rafa Nadal has gotten into the quarter-finals of Wimbledon after beating Mathieu in three sets (6-4, 6-2, 6-2). The world number one, who suffered from his knees, will face Soderling in the next round.
It had a second round Nadal enough available for an event that came to the only question the performance of his knees. Mathieu, being a good player, not is much danger on grass and meet him around a second round of Wimbledon is a pleasant surprise.
The Frenchman hit the track with the lesson well learned: attack Nadal's serve. The problem for the Gaul was that the Spanish brought superbly and made very few cracks in their service. Mathieu only had one ball break throughout the match and, interestingly, occurred in the first kick Rafa. Once the number overcame evil start, it's over Paul-Henri Mathieu.
Over Nadal games began to feel comfortable the rest to the despair of an opponent unable to hold the rally in Spanish. Only a few sparks with the back kept the party crossed into French.

Nadal, without any knee pain, remained very stable to throw at the continuing attempts to winners of its rival. The second and third sets did not have history. In the end the match early and opted Nadal won easily, without suffering and in a game cortito (great news for Rafa's knees).
In the next round Robin Soderling expected to go into the match after being charged with David Ferrer in the fifth set. The Swedish and Spanish back to see their faces after that match at Wimbledon in 2007 where he mocked Nadal Soderling. Many battles have passed, but I'm sure Rafa has not forgotten.
